Ben Korzelius, horn

The moment Ben Korzelius picked up the French horn in middle school, he found his passion and calling. Ben has been performing with the Amarillo Symphony for two years. What he loves about the horn is its strength and role in performances. “There’s something magical about the horn’s ability to cut through the orchestra with both warmth and power,” Ben said.  “Whether it’s blending into the fabric of a Brahms symphony or soaring above the ensemble in a Mahler finale, the horn has this emotional depth and resonance that I find endlessly inspiring. It’s an instrument that demands both precision and courage.”
